Jim McKee, Accredited Asset Management Specialist - President
Jim formed McKee Asset Management in 2001. Jim was raised in Newark, Ohio. He received his BS degree with a double major in Economics and Finance from the University of Dayton. Jim is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, The International Economics Honor Society. After graduation, Jim worked in the treasury area at NCR Corporation. During his time at NCR, he received his MBA from the University of Dayton. Prior to forming McKee Asset Management, Jim taught the following courses at Capital University for over sixteen years; Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Investment Finance, and Corporate Financial Management. Jim has more than 30 years of financial planning experience working with corporations and individuals.
In Jim's spare time, he enjoys being an active member of the Tipp-Monroe Optimist Club and serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Luke Commission. Jim lives in historic downtown Tipp City with his wife, Cheryl. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His daughter, Kate, resides in New Bern, North Carolina, with her husband, Patrick, and their sons, Jackson & Warren. His daughter, Maggie, joined the family business upon graduating college in 2011 and resides in troy with her husband JD and son James and his son, Patrick, graduated from Jim's alma mater, The University of Dayton, in 2015.
Maggie Kenny - Practice Manager, CFP®
Maggie has been working for McKee Asset Management on a part-time basis for many years. After her graduation in May 2011, she accepted a full-time position with the company. Maggie graduated cum laude from Southeastern University with a BS in Finance. Maggie earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in March of 2016.
While attending Southeastern University, Maggie enjoyed serving as the President of her university's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) chapter, leading her team to two consecutive national finals; being a student ambassador; and being a member of Sigma Beta Delta, an International Business Honors Society. Maggie is an active member of the Women’s Ministry team at Christian Life Center and the co-chair of Give Where You Live Miami County Steering Committee, a Giving Circle based in Miami County. Maggie enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, decorating her home and spending time with her husband JD, son James, and dog Fitzgerald.
Jill Heilman- Office Manager
Jill joined McKee Asset Management in August of 2022 after 25 years of friendship with the McKee’s. As residents of Tipp City, Jill and her husband, Jim, enjoy the activities of a small-town community, tackling home improvements and family vacations. Jim & Jill attend and serve in the Marriage Ministry as well as a host of other opportunities at Christian Life Center.
After attending Ohio State University, Jill went into the travel business as a Certified Travel Agent/Office Manager for corporate business travel until 1988 when Jill had the privilege of becoming a stay-at-home mom for 23 years. Their daughter, Kristen, has two children, Lucas and Elizabeth. Their daughter, Briana, enjoys living in Nashville, TN with her husband, Seth. Her son, Caleb, is residing in Columbus, OH.
Beginning as a part-time teller in 2010, Jill worked at Monroe Federal Savings & Loan. Four years later, she moved to a full-time position in the Operations Department as Administrative Assistant and Compliance followed by Loan Processing the last two to three years of her 12-year tenure.
Fitzgerald aka "Fiddy" - Office Greeter
Fiddy is the official office greeter and has been a part of the team since 2013. While Fiddy's daily tasks include "watching the office" and greeting visitors, most of his day is spent napping on a chair or trying to get the McKee Asset Management staff to give him treats.
